The Museum and Cultural Heritage unit of the National Gallery of Indonesia (GNI), under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, will re-open the National Gallery of Indonesia's Permanent Exhibition, after closing on May 31, 2023, for a comprehensive revitalization of Building B and improvements to the exhibition space, including updates to the curatorial concept, exhibition layout, and supporting facilities.

Welcoming International Women's Day on March 8, 2026, Kartini Day on April 21, 2026, and the 499th Anniversary of Jakarta on June 22, 2026, BLU Museum and Cultural Heritage through the National Gallery of Indonesia unit in collaboration with the Cemara Enam Foundation will hold the Indonesian Women Artist (IWA) Exhibition #4: ON THE MAP— Art, Science, Technology & Culture. Previously, similar exhibitions have been held three times, namely IWA #1: The Curtain Opens (2007), IWA #2: Into The Future (2019) and IWA #3: Infusion into Contemporary Art (2022).
